Our 30/60/90-Day Athlete Development System: More Than Baseball & Softball Lessons

Random lessons are not a development plan. At Tenth Inning Sports in Bluffdale, Utah, we identify what your baseball or softball athlete needs, build a training roadmap, and monitor their improvement.
1. Day 0 — Assess
Every athlete starts with an evaluation of their current ability, goals and key development priorities. Hitters can start with our $10 Hitter Blueprint Evaluation: a 30-minute assessment of their swing and clear next steps.
2. Build the Individual Plan
We turn assessment findings into an athlete-specific development plan. Training can include hitting, pitching, catching, fielding, strength, speed and the mental game based on the athlete’s goals.
3. Train With Intent
Coaches focus every session on a purpose. Athletes receive feedback and specific work to practice between sessions instead of taking random repetitions.
4. Monitor Progress
We track session work, readiness, adherence and performance measures relevant to the player. Depending on the program, these may include exit velocity, throwing velocity, sprint times and skill execution.
5. Transfer to Games
We connect skill work to competition. Strong practice performance matters, but the goal is improvement when the game gets faster and the pressure rises.
6. Review at Days 30, 60 and 90
We review development and retest relevant measures on a 30/60/90-day cadence. The next plan is adjusted to what the athlete has demonstrated.
